Know what's in every bin without opening it.
Stick a BinAtlas label on each storage bin and photograph what's inside. Later, search for anything and BinAtlas tells you the bin and the shelf. Or scan a stack of bins with your iPhone and peek inside each one.

Three steps, then just look it up
-
Label your bins
Print labels on Avery sticker sheets, 3×5 cards or plain paper. Each has its own QR code and a big bin number, and the larger ones read from across the garage.
-
Show BinAtlas what's inside
Scan the new label and take a few photos. Add items by typing, by saying them out loud, or by picking from what BinAtlas spots in your photos.
-
Find it later
Search, and BinAtlas shows the bin and the shelf it's on. Or scan the labels on a stack of bins and see inside each one.
Search finds the bin and the shelf
BinAtlas looks through item names and notes, bin names, places and tags, and even the words printed on boxes in your photos.
It works offline, so it finds things in the basement with no signal.
Scan to peek
Point your iPhone at a shelf of bins. Each label it reads shows what's inside, so you find the right bin before you lift it down.
BinAtlas uses your iPhone's zoom lenses to read labels on a high shelf, and can read every label in one photo of the whole shelf.
A home inventory for your insurance
Add what things would cost to replace, scan their receipts, and read serial numbers straight off the label with the camera. Photograph each room, and list what isn't in a bin, like the TV.
When you need it, BinAtlas makes a PDF report room by room, or one with only the things in a claim.
Share your bins with your household
With the Family plan, invite the people you live with. Everyone sees and changes the same bins on their own iPhone or iPad, kept in step through iCloud.
Private by design
- No BinAtlas account and no BinAtlas server. Your bins stay on your devices and in your own iCloud.
- Labels hold a random code, never what's inside. Someone who scans one without the app learns nothing about your bin.
- Photos are read, and what you say is turned into text, on your device. Photos keep no location.
- No ads, no tracking and no analytics.
